Father’s Day Contest Rain Delay Edition!

Saturday, June 25th, 2011

Last week we had planned on running a little contest in honor of Father’s Day and our first week at the Farmers Market. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had different ideas and rained us out. Not to be outdone by a little weather, we going to do our Father’s Day contest this week instead!

All you have to do to enter is drop by our booth on Sunday, fill out an entry form and you’ll be entered to win a free family photo shoot, a $100 value. You don’t have to be a dad to enter, but if you win you should really bring your dad (or husband) along for the ride. I mean, can you really ever have to many pictures documenting how awesome they are? For more details on what our family photo shoots include, please check out our pricing page.

Hope to see you tomorrow!

Sellers Family Photoshoot

Friday, June 17th, 2011

When the Sellers family (Dalan, Jessi and the adorable Quinn) asked where we would recommend we do their photo shoot, I listed off a couple of the usual suspects, mostly local parks. But I also said if they were feeling a little daring and wanted to do something out of the ordinary than we could do a shoot in the more industrial area of downtown Salt Lake City, something that I’ve been really excited about trying for a while. They jumped on the opportunity and I’m really happy that they did.

Colby and I have shot a ton in that area, but it’s always been urban photography, not people. I think that the pictures turned out really well and are very different than than a lot of the shoots we have done in the past. I think the location would be perfect not only for families but also for a bridal shoot for an adventurous bride.
